i'm back! hi everyone!!!

i would wax poetically about how fucking fantastic and life-altering my trip was, but i just don't feel like sullying the experience by trying to put it into words.. i mean, how does one describe seeing the colloseum or st. peter's? how do you impart the feeling of being surrounded by thousands of years of history? i'd never thought much on it, but it's absolutely true that americans have no sense of history.. i mean, for all historical intents and purposes, america was born yesterday.

anyway.. i started class last week. color and design.. boring as fuck, but i think it will really be useful.

and i just saw black snake moan... CRAIG BREWER is definitely someone to watch. haven't seen hustle and flow, but it's next on my list.. holy shit this movie is great. and i wasn't disappointed in the movie because of the preview (which often happens) i feel that i was mislead just enough so that there was some mystery left as to what the whole thing was actually about. and GOD do i love special features
