Well, a fun and interesting night indeed.
Went downtown to hang out on Chippewa. Conor and Kari accompanied me tonight. Kari is a good friend and ex-hook up and current quasi-colleague. Long story... if you want to know, let me know in the comments and I'll hook ya'll up with the details.
First we went to a bar called Area42... so called because the address is 42 Chippewa St. Fun bar, but usually the first place people go, so it died around 1:30 (closing time in the B-lo is 4:00am, in case you didn't know). Some old guy (ok, not that old, but like 40) who happened to be a hippie burn-out (know the type?) was hitting on Kari. And she was drunk. Fortunatly she wasn't stupid.
I don't usually drink Molson, but tonight I did... it was free... Conor bought all night. My labels said "Guess where my tatoo is." and "My groove is so on"(or something like that.)
So the end of the night came (after pizza at some pizzaria on the strip) and we returned to Kari;s safe and sound. I had to check my old apartment... Kari lives upstairs and I still have a key to the door which still works. The landlord hasn't changed it yet, since I just moved out. I don't suppose it will work much long though. Anyway, the lights were on so I had to check it out *curious me... Just the landlord painting and he left the kitchen light on.
Walked outside to go to my car, and there was Conor, waiting for me before he left. He walked me to my car, and when we exchanged our customary "really - long-like-i-want-to-kiss-you-but-im-too-scared-too hug," he actually did kiss me. Damn good too. And just as long as the hug I usually get. Oh, I feel like a 14 year old - BOY CRAZY. Oi, Ok well, its late, and I;m sleepy.
