SOMEONE FOUND MY DOG!
She was out in the woods on her own for 8 days. Her paws are roughed up pretty bad but she is alive and well. I cannot believe how tough she is. She lost nearly 15 pounds while she was gone but she is home now and so happy to be back.
I could not possibly be happier. No words can express how eternally grateful I am.
The people that found her refused to accept our reward for finding her and said, "Returning her to you was the icing on the cake and a great end to a great day in the mountains. Use that money to get her well and take this time to enjoy your sweet girl."
I am in awe.
SO THANKFUL.
Right after we got her back with us. After everything she went through, she was still holding her head high.
