biggrinbiggrinbiggrinI got a job! So, yay me!!! I'm so stoked!biggrinbiggrinbiggrin
I start Thursday - selling baby furniture. Apparently, though, the training is really extensive. They even want you to know what finish they use on the wood. Which is good, because I actually like to know all of that stuff when I buy kid/baby furniture. They said it will take 3-6 months to learn everything....

congrats on getting a job. sorry about the apt. situation.

have you thought about egg donation? i don't know how fast you could get the money, though.

there's also this place. i don't know how credible they are but they say you don't need a credit check:

money mutual loan company

good luck!
femlover:
Congrats on the new job! Have fun with all the training. Major bummer about the apartment situation. Whatever happens, I hope all ends well.

My husband goes to bed early, because he works early. But I am always really randy late at night. I won't go into detail. I'll just say that I woke him with my mouth and he was kind enough to return the favor by finishing me off... a few times.biggrin One of the great things about being married is that I get to have sex...

Javascript, actually. They (it and java proper) are two separate languages (and yeah, it can be confusing at first). I'm still thinking about what, specifically... bear in mind, I'm more of an engineer than an artist, at least as far as technical things go.

Heh, well, I'm up past my bedtime anyway, so I went to take a look. smile I am throwing ideas out on short notice when I'm tired, so if they suck, I'll simply deny I ever wrote this and pretend I was sleepwriting. And that shall be my story and I shall stick to it in the most persistently gluelike manner.

Also, please don't take anything I say the wrong way. It's damn easy to be a critic. Creation is hellaciously hard. You're the creator, I'm the critic, and please don't throw pointy things at me. I'm just throwing out ideas, and you may trash them at leisure.

I hadn't remembered the interactice mouseover effects on the thumbnails. (I'm hoping it's new since I looked, but I may have simply forgotten.) They are not bad (at all) but what if you had a central display area that displayed a large version of whatever you mouseovered? That way, no need to break away to a separate page for display of the larger images. The downside would be you would need to standardize (as to size) the larger images displayed. Or maybe have a page for verticals versus horizontals. I also need to consider your linkage to etsy where appropriate, and how that would work in this scheme. [I'll see if I can find a well-done example of something like this]

The "About me" struck me as almost an afterthought. You should (eventually) do more there. You don't have to tell more, but it's just kind of... well, not much to it. You're gorgeous on there, of course... but maybe a picture that's serves as some kind of veiled allegory about you would have a greater air of artistic mystery.

Ok. That's it. I've been up too long. I'll look again. When I am all wakey wakey. Maybe I'll be more useful then. But like I said your site deserves my serious thought, not my first reactions off the cuff.

Either applies/fits. It's a gray area, so to speak. wink

This happened a few years ago, but I just thought about it. My mom asked me once what exactly a "hollaback girl" was. I couldn't stop laughing when I was explaining it to her. About a week later I called her and she didn't answer her phone. When she called me back I couldn't answer my phone. She left me a voice mail and she...

What is it like to live in France?
Are there jobs for people that aren't fluent in French?
What is the cost of living like comparative to where I live in Tennessee.
What about living in a small town?
I want as much information as I can possibly get.
Thank you!
smile

Can you make french toast.....LoL
draze:
I have to go now this morning and I'll come back in two days so I'll take more time to respond.
Are you talking about a full time job or a job while studying ?
When you talk about small town, what do you mean ? less than 100.000p or 10.000p ?
