Tonight I went and saw David LaChapelle's new documentary, Rize. Its all about the new dance culture of Clowning and Crumping in South Central L.A.....
It really took my breath away. The images were so intense..which i suppose is what you get when a man like LaChapelle makes a documentary. The Dancing....Life in South Central.... The music was phenomenal too.
If you haven't seen it be sure to check. Its been out for a like 6 weeks and now its only playing in one theatre in NYC....the one on 3nd b/w 11th and 12th.
