Can we talk about the 80s for a second. Why are they back?.. I mean i know that pop culture tends to try an repeat itself every 20 years with Fashion and music and such but look at us..... A Republican President, Huge Deficit, War, Horrible Economy, 80's Fashion, 80s Music
(ie. electro) . Maybe I was too young but the early 80s don't seem to be something we need to repeat....may I remind you that two of the most important figures of the 20th century died.. Bob Marley both John Lennon.. in the span of a few years.
In the words of Marvin Gaye " What's going on?" ..oh yeah and those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.
Sorry I've had one of those moments.
On the flip side I spent the evening listening to this acoustic bootleg of James Mercer from The Shins. It was the perfect soundtrack to trecking around the city on a snowy night.
