'this is not my idea of a good time.'

a word to the wise - and the rest of you out there, too.

being pregnant is work. for EVERYONE. it's tiring, and confusing, and life-altering. and not entirely pleasant. this is NOT the kind of ride to hop on if you got any questions about where you wanna end up.

i think the term is harrowing. and, lest anyone tell you otherwise, contractions, even practice ones, HURT.

but, you know what else? i wouldn't change it for the world. and i haven't even had the baby yet.

You are almost at the finish line. Enjoy this time because it is easier to take care of her in the womb that it is in the world. But I understand the feeling of wanting it to be over. As for wanting to do it again, I understand that too. Look at me! smile

one of my girlfriends around here is flat on her back in a hospital bed in her 5th month of pregnancy, and has to stay that way until the baby comes. so yeah, I know it's work! and man, I don't want any part of it. I have so much respect for you ladies who can hang.
