okay, not they. Lacey. i was told to update more often, so here goes. fair warning to all of you out there, this is pretty purely baby news. don't feel obligated to gush if it ain't your thang.
got her nursery pretty much set up this weekend, except for the bureau ironbhr is almost done painting and getting stuff up on the walls. but got the dust ruffle and all that lovely decorative stuff in the crib (after buying it at yard sales and unpacking the rest of the goodies from the shower). her room looks like a real room instead of a storage shed for baby stuff.
washed and put away all her little clothes. talk about a fucking reality check... wow. cool, but wow...
and then, after all of this, saturday night she dropped. and, truth be told, it was a little more dramatic than i had been led to believe. a little sudden and intense. and more than a little uncomfortable. but - now i can breathe again, which is a lovely little treat.
my last fun little bit of news - which is only fun to me and my mom probably, but - i bought bras today! they're nursing bras, but i can wear them now, too. just for reference, i've been in sports bras for a couple of months now 'cause none of my old ones will fit. yeah. they're that big.

i'm not going to be able to escape my dungeon to come to your gathering. but i bought a little something for your little someone, i'm going to make trevor come pick it up from my house today... so don't let him forget to give it to you tomorrow. he will probably try to steal it for himself... i keep telling him that for the last time, he's not pregnant.. but he just keeps rubbing his belly and staring into space. so you might have to remind him
