ahh, life is so damn good. sorry 'bout that brief grey spell there, folks, credit card glitch, actually. but all is well in the house of bliss.
we had a wonderful wonderful thanksgiving - went back east to spend the long weekend with the hubby's family - my inlaws are just an absolute blessing. god, i'm lucky. so, yummy food, good friends (more to come on this, shortly), and travel with, instead of to, my man.
seems like b4 we even turned around, it was xmas, which we passed here in town with my fam. you know, i'm certainly old enough that my parents' opinion isn't the be-all end-all for me, but the fact that they love him as much as i do is such a gift. xmas was lovely and peaceful and just exactly what i needed. time together to celebrate each other.
oh, and i got a bike - how fucking cool is that!!!!
and now, your mission, should you choose to accept is, is to go make this young man welcome to sg. he's a great friend of iron's, and has me just about as impressed as is possible. as a hint -- if i weren't way too old and married, i'd be all over the boy.
