been busy busy busy busy - but i'm gonna try and do better at updating (i know, if i did it more than once a week, it wouldn't take so long...). thank you everyone for bein' nice about my last entry, it's prob not the one i would've chosen to leave up for a week, but... sometimes that's the way the world works.

i had a wonderful (and full) weekend with my brother here. now it's on to preparing for ironbhr's arrival. and i couldn't be happier. or further behind - oops.

i'm off to the post office to mail the fam some cookies and the man some cds for the trip -- and then i gotta go vote. primaries always sneak up on me.

i do miss you all bunches.

i partied my ass off and i'm a happy happy girl.

now i just have to figure out how to swing my work schedule so that i always go in late on wednesdays and not miss another ladies' 80's at the snakepit... hmm, the planning begins.

what i don't understand is how i can dance for three+ hours straight in these boots just fine, but it's agony to walk the dog in them when i get home...

oh, and steve, thank you. i'm not mad at you anymore for bailing on the cookie-baking last night. i know - you were in agony over it, right?

now somebody come rub my feet and help me wash the smoke outta my hair before bed...
