it's on, kiddos, it's on. pretty sure i found us a place (after some minor anxiety attacks about embarking on the most important relationship of my life neck deep in debt). the place is bigger than my current (crucial), cheaper (bonus!), about 2 blocks away (nice...), and owned by the same people who will roll my deposit straight over and don't need an application fee or anything nasty like that. it's garden level, which ain't ideal, but the upstairs neighbor is totally cool (don't tell ironbhr about the classic truck in the garage, i wanna surprise him!) the place itself is nice and bright. so, goin back tomorrow morning with the folks to take measurements and pics so iron has a last chance to veto, but... so far so good. it meets all of our practical needs without compromising, which is more than i was thinkin we were gonna get away with.
and -- it looks like we got a much much better quote on the move itself, which makes me happy.
so -- my ass will be busy all weekend packing and babysitting and plotting and scheming, but i'm definitely taking time out saturday night to see my boys the railbenders at herman's. so come out and motherfuckin' say hi! mebbe i'll buy you a shitty beer or somethin...
had a funny dream last night... was at some bizarre bbq with really bad bad bands, and amina was there, too. at first i was all excited, 'cause she was, of course, as cool as could be. but then i got all embarrased 'cause i had put together this shindig (with aforementioned horrible bands) as some kind of SGCO event... bizarre. she and elzig were nice enough about it, though.
