i thought about holding out just to see how many comments i could get (my conversation this morning with LiLMiSsMorBiD put me onto a third page), but it's sorta like cheating, lol. 'sides, i have too much fun with y'all not to update regularly, exhibitionist that i am.
i'm starting to settle back into being home: getting the place cleaned up a little and starting to plan for my trip to see iron in july. with my clever planning and lack of attention to detail, it looks like that trip will cause me to miss ojflow when he's here, but... priorities and all that.
i actually had a dream last night about getting there, seeing him in the airport. i rarely have dreams that approach reality in any way, shape, or form, so it was pretty interesting. reminded me that i'm gonna wanna wear the waterproof mascara that day, i think. 
let's see - what else what else. work is work. i'm moving through those stacks of paper that i spend the entire academic year accumulating. not fun, but rewarding to have finished.
saw my folks and all their vacation pics - cool stuff. they did carlsbad caverns, white sands, and roswell. okay, i wanna go to roswell so bad it's not even funny. i mean, it's right up there with graceland for places i wanna go that i never have. where should we honeymoon, bear?
okay, okay, okay, i've spent all morning so far on sg, guess i oughta make some effort to get some work done, eh? just enough so that they keep payin me.

18 June, Friday: skating with slimjim et al. no, we don't know where or exactly when yet, but there's a thread on sgco where that info should appear eventually.
19 June, Saturday: brethren fast at club corner. this isn't a venue i know - anyone else know anything about it? i'll prob try and catch the boys there, though, unless someone tells me it's scary.
20 June, Sunday: okay, i can't help it. there's a part of me that really wants to go see velvet revolver, but not quite enough to pay for it. don't suppose anybody else has extra tickets floating around? :hopeful:
21 June, Monday: reno divorce at the blue mule. i love these boys. very heavily social d influence, and just such damn good people they're hard not to like, honestly.
23 June, Wednesday: a big ol' event at the aztlan, including the calefaction (elijah, i'm surprised you haven't been flooding the boards with stuff about it!). dunno if i'm goin yet, but wanted to get the word out.
26 and 27 June, Saturday and Sunday: annual fly-in, this time at the Watkins air field just east of town. lots of awesome classic planes, and a few classic cars, too. neat stuff, really. one of my favorite parts of the summer.
29 June, Tuesday: skinny puppy at the ogden, you freaks. i've got my ticket, and i'll be there. anybody wanna chaperone?
2 July, Friday: legendary pink dots at the bluebird. got my ticket for that,. also, the reno divorce boys are playing the cheers tavern. if they're still goin after the dots, that's where i'll be found, drowning the sorrows of edward ka-spel in cheap bourbon.
10 July, Saturday: the railbenders are doin a set or two at the blue mule, which should be much fun.
15 July, Thursday: i fly out to see ironbhr. can you tell i'm trying to keep busy until then?
