um, thanks for the email honey. finally got it this morning. jesus fuck. wow.

so... i don't know whether to be honored or annoyed - they included me in the little breakfast for Administrative Professionals' day today... see, up until last August, i was the Assistant to the Director, so it made sense (mind you, up until this year i'd always been the one who planned it, too, so...). but as of august i dropped most of my administrative stuff when i became the Assistant Director instead. hmmm.... i think i'll just take it as a compliment - after all, i got feted - that's rarely a bad thing...

speaking of, plans for my bday are coming along swimmingly... evites will be going out shortly ('cause i'm too damn lazy to do paper for anything that's not on the decade, lol, and i've got two more years before that one).

i look really cute today. and i'm modest, too, huh? but i was really nervous about it when i got dressed this morning, and my co-workers have reassured me... i don't normally wear pink, so the pink barbie sweater with black skirt and headband was a bit of a stretch for me, but it's being fun.

and i'm supposed to go see Champions on Ice tonight, which should be way cool...
