'so why do we choose the boys that are naughty?
i don't fit in so why do you want me?
and i know i can't tame you...but i just keep tryin'

if you're looking for the smut fiction - that's the journal for 31 March. enjoy smile i'm going to try to post something on the last of each month... you might have to remind me wink

was expectin the booty call last night - it was boys' night out, so he was going to 'stop by' after to 'hang out.' ahem. instead, i get a call around 9:30 - they've decided to catch the late showing of Dawn of the Dead - do I wanna come? sure!

okay, a little backstory. i love horror movies. perhaps because i am so damn susceptible to them. last one i actually saw on the big screen was Candyman in high school - and it was so scary i left (not that i remember a bit of it, now).

so, i meet the boys at the bar next to the theatres (he's just got the sweetest friends!), the bouncer checked my id but didn't charge me the cover and there's a shot waitin to welcome me at the table - so far so good smile we head from there over to the theatre - they, of course, had to stop on the way to smoke. what is it with that? i really need to just talk to him about it...

after a major munchie haul - just for the two i was between, we're talking twix, snicker bars, two cookie ice cream sandwiches, a bag of m&m's... yikes! - we settle in for the movie. yes, the boys had finished their snacks during the previews, lol. i realized during the opening fucking credits that i probably should not be there. oh man.

scary fuckin movie. hilarious fuckin movie, too, though. i probably actually watched about a third of it. another third got glimpsed through my fingers, trying to weed out the really scary stuff. the final third was watchin and laughin. i was such the 'girlfriend' - holdin on to him and the friend on the other side of me (whom i just adore), hiding my face in his shoulder, it was really quite absurd. at one point i remember him asking me if i was okay, to which i responded, 'no.' surreal

anyway - good horror flick. not as good as 28 Days Later, imho, but good. very formula, but that's not inherently bad in a genre film.

but i was so freaked out right after that (a) there was definitely not going to be any 'talk,' (b) there was certainly not going to be a quickie, and (c) there was even less fuckin chance that i was gonna be sleeping alone. lol. so he came back to my place with me to get the dog, and we had a slumber party. smile

due to random life circumstances, this was the first time i had stayed up at his place through the night in a couple of weeks, so it was really sweet. nice not to have to get up and drive home bleary-eyed at three in the mornin.

still in the process of dealing with the fact that we can't really get serious - 4+ months in when i've already gone and fallen for him. :sigh:

funny, i hadn't thought i'd want a 'boyfriend' again. and absotively posilutely didn't want more, but... just goes to show what i know, huh?

so, in short (too late), the night was good, the morning even better (his neighbors can vouch for this) - and i came home to have lunch out with my ex and his son for his son's 8th bday. hooray! biggrin used Az's yummy triple chocolate brownie recipe for the cake. damn.

and now?

a nap

wallyfuckyou:
Thanks for the kind words regarding my novel. I am trying to get people interested enough to follow it in the Hiss Quarterly, which is a on-line magazine that is going to serialize the novel. Glad you like it so far; I will likely blog chapters often enough...
