It was @ The Hill Auditorium on around U Of M's campus. It was a fantastic show if you dig the improv jazz. If you missed it, I'm sorry 'cause it was the cat's 79th birthday and I don't think he's still crawling cross-country to do gigs.

Los Angeles? Shit, have a great time. Amen on the Flaming Lips. Gotta love the whole "Jesus Shooting Heroin" period by those clowns. If you don't have any of their older shit....steal it.
