Group Ride=fail
Two of us showed on time. 3 were late..very late and one was a no-show.
The plan was to ride MLK and out to and around the Mann. MLK drive closed to bikers due to a tri race.
Hit a HUGE pothole, got a back flat. While fixing the back flat, front flatted out. Got frustrated, walked to the shop to get another tube and said fuck it. The 3 riders left were rained out.
I walked home in the rain (decided to get a tune-up since I was at the shop). Walk of shame in spandex through philly, then it started to rain and of course i was wearing a white jersey. I swear. HA
Normally (in past) this would have really pissed me off however as I was walking to the shop, i was grateful that I could 'walk to the shop", that I could ride my bike, that I have cute hair, that I am getting back to normal.

Aw. Well, at least tomorrow is another day. What is MLK drive? Did they go and rename one of the river drives again?

I'm OK. Looks like late this month before I can make it back to Philly. Things are going slower than I'd like, mainly because nobody has any money out here to buy the spare vehicles I'm selling off.
