Well, a) I was begining to redecorate around here and when I jumped for Prom I realized that I wouldn't be able to finish this job I've started, or at least not for a couple months, and that would drive me batty. b) I've never taken myself on a real 'vacation' I've only gone places I needed to do things in and the thought of doing it again with SF really bummed me out.
I've decided the next time I fly anywhere it'll be to somewhere tropical. Maybe an all-inclusive retreat to Puerto Vallarta? I noticed that you can get a super deluxe package for $12-1500. And here I was about to spend $1200 on SF. I suppose you could say it just didn't add up for me.
I just have to find a travel buddy. It's always funner (funner?) to go with someone, even if you're just reading at the pool, I just don't know anyone who has the cash. So now I'm on the hunt for one.
