The same nature that drives us to be something other than what we are, in order to; assimilate into, endear to, or become closer to, those we wish to impress. Or those that impress us.
The same nature that causes us to desire something that we don't need, simply because others covet it. That causes us to lie, cheat and steal to get it...despite the pain it causes to others. Convincing ourselves of our right to possess, in order to justify it to our conscience. So that our stomaches are not upset by the sick under-handedness of it all...
Ethics, honour and trust...these are not parts of human nature.
Honesty is not a part of human nature.
Forgiveness is not part of human nature.
But they should be....
Any prize taken to the injury of others...is not a prize worth having...

I was told today, that i've been neglecting my friends in favour of someone else.....
irony has the best sense of humour...
Anyways, I've gotten back into my old routine...
Spent the day talking shit at the tattoo shop,
and going through old records with casey.
That was the most fun i've had all week.
I haven't listened to Toots and the Maytals in forever..
In half an hour i'm going disco bowling with everyone..
So far a pretty good start to operation: return to normal
that's all for now...
