While I'm currently deigned the movie I was finally able to acquire my own copy of the 300 book (at a surprising reasonable price). It was love at first sight. I tenderly caressed my way through its glorious pages until sated we spooned for hours.
I plan to see it again tomorrow.

The same friend that took the snapshots of a certain dead commie is currently over in Winnipeg (on a university study exchange) and aside from freezing his stones off (imagine an Aussie in -30c) he's been taking some really nice landscape/cityscape shots.
Which means that either this photography thingy isn't all that hard, or Canada's just mind numbingly gorgeous.
From what I understand about photography landscapes (especially in Canada!) are as close to easy mode as it gets. What impressed me most about your photo's (and please accept this as sincere) was how well you do candid shots of people.
