Basil Poledouris handed down a gift from Crom when he scored the music for Conan the Barbarian. This film score has been the prize musical jewel to inspire me throughout my whole life, as far as I can remember. The funny thing is so much of what inspires me is the fantasy art from the 70's - 80's. The same applies to the Swords & Sorcery B-films of the 80's. I love those cheesy fantasy films, they will forever inspire me. But I tend to never express that part of my brain in my artwork. This is my first attempt at Swords, sorcery, dungeons, dragons & busty barbarians. It wont be my last. I am so happy to have explored this avenue that has been dormant in my art but not in my mind.
