I'm just a second hand rose;
A dusty rose
Stripped down to threads
Shattered like glass
I'm a flaw in your perfect world
A thorn in your side
Which makes your blood stream down
Like rivers

Aren't you sorry now, for pushing me away
For giving me a dusty rose
To mean the words you didn't say
Well aren't you sorry now, for pulling me down
For feeding me lies
The lies to which I was bound

A rose is a graceful dancer
Who dances with the wind,
But the venom inside, will make you despise
Who I really am



i JUST had this poem published in a book was way proud of myself! just wanted to share it with yall!
btw- this was written like a year ago.
