Yesterday I: Saw a brilliant Japenese film, called Spirited Away, ate an awesome meal at Seven Stars (meat dumpoling soup, Mmmmm!), played Super Monkey Ball 2 and Animal Crossing, on the Game Cube, and listened to some Asa-Chang & Junray. Yes, I'm absolutely and irrevocably under the hypnotic spell of my Asian masters!

Today, I made more friends than enemies. Children and Old Folks smiled and called out to me by name. The sun shined on an October day in Oregon. My cats still believe in me. I am drinking good beer, and eating warm food. I laughed out loud, while walking by myself. What more can one ask for?

This weekend I've seen Igby Goes Down, Das Experiment and Moonlight Mile. All enjoyable, though I'd single out Das Experiment. It's German, features the "boyfriend from Run Lola Run", and is very edgy.
The Transylvanian gypsy band was good. The second set being more of what i expected: raw, passionate and drunken. I haven't drunk like that since UK Subs!

off in a far away and small corner of the globe is the song "to know, know, know him, is to love, love, love him, and i do. and i do." its easier to love an octopus for what it does/does not do. hate it when they speak in code and the lies srangly taste as sweet as honey. gave you a nice tonic to cut down on the gas and nervousness, now see me in all my imperfect glory. what about it is not your scene? i can sure understand about the smoke filled, though- yech. i'm so used to living in cali, where smoking in bars, restaurants and clubs is illegal (yeah, some places ignore the laws, but even at those places the smoking is [usually] less than it used to be), that it kind of shocks me when i go somewhere else and someone lights up in a bar!
