My internet, for whatever reason, has been so painfully slow lately. I mean like "I can't believe I'm paying for this." slow. Even youtube videos are getting the old pause and wait treatment. I want cable internet. Shit, I'd probably never leave this chair if I had it.
So for the fast few weeks, they have deen redoing the roads here in the downtown area. This week they completely ripped up ALL the roads. They are all closed, and are just dirt paths. I've been digging around in the dirt a bit actually, the city has a rich civil war history and you never know when you may find something neat in the ground. I like to imagine that right now, it looks a bit like it did back then.
Back then, around 1906.
My building was built in 1897 I believe, so methinks I'll be safe in a tornado, but I'm fucked if there is an earthquake. Whick apparaently, is not that distant of a possiblity.
Forrest is taking his registery certification tomorrow. Wish him luck!
The old people are starting to filter in. This suprises me, since they all would've had to walk several blocks to get here. Maybe they won't do music tonight...I'm not in the mood for it.
Today was the first day of my four day vacation. I didnt do anything today except put on some pants to get some Taco Bell. I slept really late but that was partly because I stayed up till past 3 am slamming Jager and rocking out to LORDI. It's truly for times like that I wish I had a video camera.
I'm bored.
Oh, and yeah, I really do have the most kick-ass dog that was ever birthed.
