So... I'm doing a mid-weekend review... mostly because I'm bored due to stoner's having overrun my living room playing video games, not that i mind them smoking weed, just don't care too much for the effects it renders on me... I'll take a hit every once in awhile though for kicks...
ANYWAY, thats not what this is about... Yesterday was great, my very impromptu night of drinking games was the first successful "party" type thing I think I've ever done. A whole 5 people showed up along with me and my roommate. My other roommate was in his room all night with my friend who was pms-ing and all sad cause her boyfriend wanted to go home and sleep after working a 12 hour shift and didn't want to come see her. Anyway, we all played Kings and my roommate had to drink the cup, he actually did get most of it down. Kings is an excellent Ice breaker if you're like me and have a ton of small groups of friends who don't know each other. (Basically i had 3 people i knew from this one girl, this dude i know, and this girl i know and none of them knew each other) But it went off well.
Today I woke up around 330 and was somewhat dreading going out to do a necessity shopping spree because I figured I was going to drop around a grand. I dropped my car off at the little hispanic tire place that I always go to because they do excellent work and are way cheaper than the chains, then my roommate took me to the mattress store to get a bed. My air bed popped so I finally HAD to get a bed now. I somehow found a bed that is excellent for my back (being that it's all fucked up and everything) that was only $250, I was expecting to shell out 500-600 for a bed. Then I go back to the little hispanic tire shop and they ring me up, 4 brand new tires for $200. So I take my car and it's new booty's to Kohls where I grabbed some sheets for my new mattress and some pants that I have to return because I am a bit fatter than last time I shopped for clothes.
Now I'm waiting for my other roommate to get off so we can go to Hooters, I'm really wanting to go. Tilly is sleeping on my new bed right next to me, like the cute little lady she is, and after Hooters I'm thinkin some drinkin and watching of Inland Empire by David Lynch. Oh, btw, if anyone wants to get me the series of Twin Peaks, that'd be awesome, but I can't shell out the $90 that Best Buy wants for it... well I might be able too now since I saved so much today... but eh... maybe... I'll think about it awhile...
And tomorrow I will be cleaning up the house in the morning because my parents will be coming by around 12 or so and probably we'll go have lunch and they have some boxes of old stuff they need to give me. They just bought a new house that's smaller than the old one so I can't leave all my crap there anymore. It's also kinda weird that they're moving, they've lived in that house since I was born... but I'm glad they are, they'll both be closer to where they work and I won't have to drive near as far when I go see them haha.
