Well hasnt it been a MASS two days.
started yesterday with our fallen coming back to Australia, it was a very honoring Service. I was given the job of ushering the familys, an extremely hard job. When 12 cars rock up and family members of the fallen get out with there small children. well lets just say it managed to break through an emotional wall that I have had in place since i was 13. After the ceremony Myself and my fellow brother decided that it was time for a stiff drink....or maybe 12 stiff drinks. Cant really remember much of that night, only that there was a lot of comradeship around.
Then waking up at 845 cause my body wont let me sleep, having a shower walking with just a towel back to my room I hear "Bevan hurry the fuck up we are going to surfers paradise!". Well lets just say it involved a half naked Saint V (pretty sure still drunk) running to the bus and getting changed on the way. After a long bus ride we got to surfers paradise and just spent the day swimming and enjoying the sun and life. Was a much needed day off
