Q1) If Life of Pi does that to you, have you read "Self" by Yann Martel? THAT is the book I just cannot get into at all. I have had it for over a year now and I think I have managed to read maybe 3 pages

no, it cant rain all the time. however, it can apparently rain all the times that im not sleeping or at work
and you are fishing in London, i am fisihing in a small town in the bible belt. Our fish seem to have caught some disease and are all rotten. If i were fishing there im quite certain there are many fish id like to taste

that at the store i didnt notice a couple items that seemed confused as to whether they were mats or rugs, as they were either large bath mats or small rugs. I think those crossover pieces where what made me think some further specification was neccesary.
this is no oversized bath mat, it is as long as i am tall (maybe a little over) and almost as wide.
for the record, i gave up on wrapping it, and said screw the surprise, your getting a damn rug, see it there by the tree
