Ahhh, my 3rd weekend day off this year. They dont come around often. So plan is to hit the gym at 445 and run till my friends get there, then do some weight training. Hoping to be out the door around 8 to head to see GWAR!!! I never found anyone to go with, so ill just pay the extra to park in the parking garage and hope i make it safely to the venue.
On another note, but still somewhat related to the GWAR thing.... i told someone very close to me i was going to the show alone and was a little afraid to walk that far alone. ( That area of Memphis is extremely unsafe for anyone to be walking around alone, especially at night). Anyways the response i received was "your a big girl, youll be ok". Nice way to show any concern for my safety. I thought i was significant to someone, but apparently not as much as i thought, The whole deal has made me start to question my role of trying so hard to accommodate and do things to benefit someone who doesn't care to return the favor. I think its time in my life to make myself priority #1, and forget anyone who's holding me back.
