Got a call from a company I first started trying to work for two years ago. All I need to do is pass a physical and drug screen on March 24th, attend a new hire indocrination the 25th, and attend helicopter evacuation training on the 26th, and I'll be working again.
I'm still looking for land based jobs, just in case I can swing a 20ish dollar an hour job... but at least I no longer have to try to convince people to hire me in spite of me being way over qualified.
Now I can relax a bit and enjoy this week and next... and especially enjoy my week with Vic next week when he visits Houston.
If anyone wants to hang out with me and Vic while we're both around Houston, let me know.
