A note before my update.

Across the Universe

I'm a movie person... sure I read... sure I listen to music... all manners of both.

But in music, few artists, bands, or composers really stand out. I find that most suit few purposes and come and go.

The Beatles, had a greater impact on my life than any other single band or composer, with the Doors coming in close second.

I've fallen in love to the music composed by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, I've cried and gotten through terrible times listening to music composed by George Harrison and Ringo Starr. I learned to challenge the status quo, I learned to believe in abstract ideals such as freedom and truth, and I've had my heart broken, beaten, battered, and bruised, to this band.

I truly understood at the age of 4 why my parents cried non stop all night long when John was shot dead on a sidewalk in New York City.

Once a long time ago, when most people reading this weren't even born, they made a story based on the music of this band and turned it into a movie. This movie, was saved total and complete disgust only because of the genius of the music it included. But no one dared make that mistake again.

Till last year. Though I didn't find out till now.

Someone dared do it again.

Someone recently mentioned to me that there was little substance to the music of that band.

Across the Universe is one of the most passionate, powerful, moving films.

No review... just wanted to explain that I laughed, cried, and felt every feeling I've ever felt when I listened to the music of the Beatles. And on occasion I learned something new about the songs, new emotions, and a new take.

There is truth in that music, and that film provides a brilliant perspective on that truth.

Now that that is out of the way.

I stayed in Denton till Sunday, loving and experiencing Vic. Making love, learning, experiencing puberty from the perspective of a 19 year old girl progressing into a 19 year old boy. Wow... was it that surreal for me?

Vic finally got a cock and the harness to go with it. And it seamlessly fit on him.

We made love as father and son, as boyfriend and girlfriend, and every other possible way. We bonded in ways few could ever understand. And even when I left, just as we were finally getting tired of one another... even perhaps a little edgy... hours later that longing was back from both of us.

Erik, a friend of the closest kind lost his mother Friday, and I drove to Lubbock Sunday to spend some time with him... he's doing good.

Tomorrow I drive back to Denton to spend the night with Vic... then drive down to check on my boat and head back out to sea.

Oh and just to make sure I include something creepy.

Evan Rachel Wood, if you are reading, let's meet, I want to see if you are as beautiful inside as you are out.

I was wondering if that movie was good. I figured it could be brilliant, or cheesy ,or even just weird... but I'm planning on buying it, at any rate. I'm a big Beatles fan. biggrin
Sorry about your friend's mom.
