In other news, I set sail today for a three hour trip in Galveston bay solo. With the exception of quite high winds... which made single handing the sails quite difficult everything went quite well. The boat handled well when she was trimmed up properly and I may very well have hit 10 knots (12 MPH)... which is as fast as my ship goes.
The rush when the sails grabbed the wind fully and healed the boat over was amazing... she just took off like a bat outta hell. Almost as good as sex.... though the solo part made it a little painful.
