The trip to California was fantastic, got to play a bit with the puppy girl, saw old loves I haven't seen in forever, and even saw some other friends I wasn't expecting to see. Also got to visit Lair de Sade while I was in town, did a few scenes including a spanking scene as a reward to a little slave girl who found one of my chain links, and a flogging/paddling scene. I liked the club, but there was a vibe there that will take some getting used to.
The drive back to Texas was nice, got to spend a few hours with my mother chatting and watching a Rockabilly documentary, slept once east of Tuscon and then completed the rest of the trip in one sitting.
Then it was back to the boat via a little bar in Amelia LA, called Cherie's II. Where I hung out with my favorite barmaids and even did a BDSM demonstration to a fairly large group of vanilla folk... they were entranced.
The hitch at sea so far has been uneventful, mainly a little work and a lot of planning of the upcoming Texas SG Camping trip. Three weeks left on the hitch then I can be back on land again.

Glad you had a good time in L.A. Sorry we didn't hooked up, it sounds like you didn't need any help finding fun.. There's a vibe at all the clubs in L.A. that even after five years I still haven't gotten use to.
