Tropical Storm Cindy wrecked havoc in the area last night. It was fantastic! Strangely enough, it was quite fortuitous also, as the air has cooled a bit and I am having car difficulties with the coolant.

It seems the return from the heater has sprung a leak, and when I cut the engine, the pressure drops and the coolant pours out. I have to take it to the shop tommorrow; I can't reach the hose to fix it myself without a ramp or large jack. Damn!

But all that is boring. I think now about the tropical storm. I remember being stuck on ferry outside Biloxi, in the Gulf, when a Tropical Storm altered course and hit us. It was fantastic! Everyone went inside, but I got out and experienced the weather. Wind, whitecaps, awesome!

I often find myself identifying with things other than human. Sometimes I wonder if I am another species of some kind. I want a hurricane with my name to wreck havoc. Everytime it comes up it never hits the shore. Is wrong to root for a hurricane?

It is just one of those little things. . .

Like how I refuse to go through one of automatic doors at the Grocery if there is one there I can open myself. I started this years ago when I observed people going the extra walking distance, past the regular doors, just to go the automatic ones. Now I call it those automatic doors "lazy doors." Well, it makes sense to me, strange though the logic may be, and at least my habits are not pathological, at least I hope not!

I love storms so, so much.

I also love that I made your heart go a-flutter, somehow.
