Weeeell boys and girls. I dam near cut my finger of today. I was cutting fruit and setting up the bar today. They don't have any really good knives to cut fruit with. They either have the steak knives for the restaurant which are serrated and not very sharp or this wicked as boing knife the chefs use. I like to use the boning knife cuz it cuts really well. Well i was chopping away and i had cut my thumb right on the ball yesterday opening wine and I kept getting lemon in it. So i put a glove on so i wouldn't get juice in it. Well the glove got slippery with lemon juice and i slipped and the knife went right into my dam finger. It was bleeding like nuts. i went through a whole stack of napkins. I went down in the basement and my manager washed it off with peroxide. I wrapped it up in gauze but we didn't have medical tape so i wrapped it in duct tape. I thought it would be ok but towards the end of the night i noticed the blood was coming through the gauze. I bought a shitload of gauze and tape and stuff on the way home. I took the tape off and it looked really gnarly. There is a big chunk cut in pretty deep. I don't know if they would stitch it because of the way it's cut. I am just keeping it wrapped. I have no health insurance so i don't wanna go to the doctor. I'm just keeping an eye on it.
