Well I had a lovely start to my morning. There was a strip of leftover carpet that the landlord had layed down over The carpet by the door and hallway to keep the carpet clean while they were showing the apartment. Well i rolled it up today and threw it in the closet. It was heavy and it rolled out and landed on the floor in the hall. Well i got out of the shower today and i stepped on it. ....and right onto a frickin nail!!! It went half way into my foot. I didn't know they had used anything to tack it down so i didn't notice it. This nail was huge. It didn't look that bad at first but now it hurts like hell and my foot is swollen. fuuuuck hope it feels better for my birthday. Anyway my house is coming together nicely. I have been spending way to much money fixing things up around here. My bathroom looks awesome. I had a book I cut pictures out of...old pin up pictures of movie stars.....mae west, rita hayworth,louise brooks, marilyn monroe and vivian leigh. I framed them all in black frames. It looks awesome. I got some new rugs so i don't mess up the new carpet. I pimped out my bed. I got a 100 dollar cream colored satin bedspread and some satiny red pillows. Looks pretty sweet. I'm looking into getting some more art for my bedroom. Still haven't met anybody interesting yet. Maybe on my b-day.
