I finally finished "tropic of capricorn". I feel like it took me forever to read it I have been working so dam much.
So I was scouting around the library looking for stuff to read next. The library in my town really kind of sux.
They don't have much in the way of fiction other than bad romance novels and murder mystery books old
old people read. They do have a rack dedicated to the classics which is cool. I picked up " Breakfast at
Tiffany's" by Truman Capote. I
watched the movie years ago and I was very let down by it. It is such a cult classic and so many people have
this goofy romance with it. The film really did nothing for me though so i thought if I read the story it was based
on I would appreciate it more. The story is really fantastic and well written! Light years better than the movie.
They basically cut out everything interesting, exciting and heart-warming from the story and just used the bare
bones plot and characters for the film. I highly recommend the story to any one who's interested.
