It has been 2 months sice I really have plyayed and Capoeira.. gained 8 lbs! Yea fuckers 8! SOooo I started back up agaon and I am so happy its rediculous. I have decided that there is no way I can ever spend that much time away from it again.. seriously it's such a part of me. The capoeira community is so much like a family. We laugh, cary, get pissed, share birthdays, partys, dinner, breakfast, help eachother move homes, fix cars, go to the beach, go to hockey games, play volley ball, go to shows, drink beer, drink more beer, dance samba, pagode, axe, salsa, merenge.. you name it. God it's good to be back.

Next week is my sons b-day..............9 <-- did you see that? 9!!!!! holy shit.. it's crazy, he is completley his own person, no more baby boy for me Oh yea and on his birthday he will have to play capoeira against 70 people (or as many as he can) in a birthday Roda. A Roda is the event after long sessions of training where you "play" against eachother. Roda means circle, everyone stands in a circle singing clapping, bringing energy, and the Bataria (band) plays.
-Before all of that we are doing a fundraiser... and part of it is a dance called "PUXADA DE REDE" (fishermans dance).. we are both in it and Im super stoked.. so much fun.. Brasilian costume and dance! YAY...

if Im lucky Ill be training here this year!!! PLEASE LORD PLEASE!! I want to go back to Brasil.










tonight is New Years Eve.. and I don't even care..
not like last year... (never again)
