Okay, so I got tagged by the lovely Greggster, so I have to tell you 20 interesting things about myself, and if I tag you, you have to do the same and tag 5 more people............here goes:
1. I have a scar on my arm that spells the word "Jay" I was 12... puppy love and a blade
2. I had a terrible phobia of lightning when I was pregnant. Not anymore 8 years later.
3. I used to have an infatuation with rubber duckies.. still kinda do. I think its because I never had one as a kid.
4. I left home when I was 13 for the first time, that day was also the first time I ever hit a bong.
5. When I was 14 I was already doomed. hahahaha I told a 200lb. freshman I could drink him under the table. 13 rounds of jack in a row, i fell over, he was hurtin.. I ate a peice of pizza just following, puked on the home owners bed and they called my dad because it was that bad. Not a happy daddy. oh yea, and we had the party, babysitting while all of this happened.
6. Dancing has always been my life.. freestyle, samba, break dancing, salsa.. you name it I pretty much dance it.. oh my newest one I want to do it LINE DANCING!
7. I lived in Rio de Janeiro Brasil when I was 15 with a friend. No parents. Time of my life.
8. I saw Capoeira played on the streets of Brasil for the first time by homeless children trying to make money. I now play Capoeira (Brasilian martial arte) it is a very very big part of my life.
9. I love tractor trailers (18 wheelers), muscle cars, beer, BBQ, shooting, 4wheeling, snowmobiling, whiskey from a flask in the middle of nowhere outside in the dead of winter, Mullet rock and a Miller High Life while fishing in the summer is the tits.. you get the point.
10. I love nice restaurants gourmet food, good wine, fine art, culture, music, martinis, I like to be wined and dined (which is hard to admit)
11. I played soccer most of my life
12. I collect quotes and I love mini pocket books filled with inspiration
13. I used to be a thug.. for real.. like sold crack.
14. I have been hospitalized by 3 men. 2 physicaly, 1 mentally
15. When I was 16 I worked in a factory 40hrs a week so that I could move to Mexico (for no reason in particluar)
17. I saved one of my best friends life. She had her skull curbed by a random attacker at 2am. I had to hold the peices of her flesh and skull together with my fingernails and carry her a block in my arms so we could get help.
18. I was published in a book with a quote I wrote under my photo. "BODY ART- The Human Canvas- Ink and Steal"
"Movement is my inspiration, to speak without words, to dance through life"
19. because of 18 the love of my life tracked me down and found me from 1500 miles away. He googled my name from the book and sent me a random email that I almost deleted. He thanked me for writing the quote, it had hit very close to home. I have never been more grateful.
20. It has been 2 years, we will be married.. we met through an email. Weird how things work out. Believe in karma.
