Personally, I find consumerism perpetuated by the masses as much as it is by the merchants... but being a minimalist, I have the luxury of enjoying Christmas away from the stress of consumerism, and simply viewing it as being something 'over there' somewhere, affecting the sheep who live and swear by it, and NOT in my happy wolf-den of a home!
