I used to love M.A.S.H., which I think stands for Mobile Army Surgical Hospital. To this day, there are people who do not realise that the show was set in the Korean war - I had an argument with a bloke in the pub who insisted it was set in the Vietnam war. It is often seen to be cold, or snow in M.A.S.H. - not weather common to Vietnam. Oddly, the TV show was on longer than the Korean war itself. It's interesting that you found the location for filming, complete with abandoned prop vehicles.
