Hey hey hey all! I know you are gettin' tired of that old journal. So I have lots of pics with me this time! California was pretty cool...It can only be so much fun when you're with you're family. And your mom's crazy psychobitch best friend. Eh, what can ya do.
We flew out early August 5th. I had a picture taken of me in case I died in a plane crash or somethin'.
We spent a few days in Los Angeles doing random tourist stuff. And had some bullshit with a rental car. **FUCK A CHRYSLER**. That is all.
So of course we went to the hollywood sign. Or as close as you can get, I guess. I dunno.
Then on August 8th we set out for San Francisco. Nice little drive. We did the same touristy stuff in San Francisco.
*Sigh* I really do love this town.
After a couple days there we left for Napa Valley and Calistoga. This was probably my favorite part of the trip, for no other reason but that I had someone my age to hang out with and stuff to talk about. We watched shooting stars and jumped the fence to the pool. (Moms can get boring over a few days.)
But anyway we got kickass massages and just relaxed in Calistoga. It was beautiful. Since we were in wine country I got to go to the Robert Mondavi winery, but for some reason can't get that pic up here. So here's a different but equally cool picture
So after Napa valley we headed to Monterrey. I guess this place was so much cooler in my head than it actually was. Maybe it was having a bad day. Either way....I wasn't terribly impressed.
The aquarium was pretty cool....
Of course we had nasty foggy weather until we're leaving the town of Monterrey. Then it gets pretty.
So after Monterrey we rode through Carmel-by-the-Sea and Big Sur and places like that. The 17 mile drive along Pebble Beach was very beautiful. Got to see some seals
How cuuuute! None of my pictures turned out really well. They were a bit far away.
We stopped through a few other towns, and by Hearst Castle and stuff.
Then back to LA.
We did some more touristy stuff back in LA (cuz there is just so damn much to do)...like the tarpits
and we went to (I hope I'm not spelling this wrong) Grauman's Chinese Theater
There were people dressed up as characters from movies, and you could take your pic w/them and then tip 'em. I thought this guy sorta looked the part:
Right before the picture was taken, he was like "ok you ready to take the pic?" and then hoisted me up. Totally unexpected, but welcome. (he was cuter in person,
)
here's a slightly better pic that my thong isnt' hanging out in:
and then, I got to be so lucky as to run into this hot chick
totally awesome.
But now I'm back home and going crazy trying to get stuff ready for nursing school. If I can get a cute one, I'll post a pic in my nurse's uniform.
Hope you all are fantabulous and I missed you guys
