Some of you were wondering what sparked such a short and random thought. But I was simply referring to the funny way life is...Throwing stuff at you when you least expect it. It seems to happen quite a bit to me, especially when I go looking for it. Its hard for me to sit still sometimes...I'm almost always going out of town every other week whether its hiking, working/racing at a racetrack, getting a much needed small vacation at the beach...My friends are always commenting that I'm always leaving them, but I guess in a small town like mine, where everyone pretty much grows up and lives right where they're born, its unusual to them to get away so much. I can't wait to start traveling as a nurse. Who will I meet? What strange things are gonna happen to me?

And when life throws you curveballs and unforseen speed bumps, its best to stay optimistic and take everything with a smile. Because life is fun, in good ways and in bad. I try to keep that in mind, and always have a good time. And when I don't, well....

I guess I'm just really, really good at faking it.
