A review of February: The good and the bad...
The bad:
I started getting sick on Friday :-( but still had to work. I felt cold, but on the inside and when I put a sweater on, I would get warm...and it carried on like that all day. I also felt feverish. Saturday I felt blah and didn't want to move or get out of bed but I had to work so I did. Today I woke up with a killer sore throat. It seriously feels like it's on fired. Maybe I'm actually becoming a fire breathing dragon? hmmm....
*edit* And the fever has cometh...woot! (maybe I'll be able to call in to work tomorrow!!!)
On the 7th, the receptionist at work put in her 2 weeks, came in on Monday and and asked to take her vacation so her 2 weeks became 2 days. I get to do double the work right now.
My friend sucks. She becomes this airhead bimbo around the guy she's currently dating. She doesn't realize what she's been doing, even when I point out that she keeps standing me up for her guy and I'm tired of it. She doesn't call any of her friends yet tells us when we feel like hanging out to call her. So Friday night I had it, I'm cutting her off. I don't need a sometimes friend. I also can't stand when girls change for what they think the guy wants. Eventually your true colors show and it backfires. In her case it will be an explosion.
I have a "popquiz" to do by Tuesday at noon.
I was informed 2 weeks ago that I am over my credits to receive student loans according to my school. I have 2 more weeks to come up with $2512.99 in tuition. I'm getting a private student loan. Just waiting to see if they'll give it to me. Otherwise I may be selling my eggs.
The good:
My birthday ws the 9th. My mom threw a last minute surprise party for me and it meant oh so much that my friends drove up to my house for me. There were only 5 of them, but still. I hear them! We ate, had a campfire outside and took stupid pictures. Then came in and goofed off for a bit. Greatest birthday EVER!
My car is finally fixed!!! After taking it in 7x's for the same problem to 3 different places and to my old place for something new, it's fixed. It only cost me $2000 extra...woot (coulda put my tuition on my credit card instead)
I finished my tax return project and it's purty! I hope I get an A.
My best friend in whole wide world is taking me to the Renaissance Fair over St. Patrick's day weekend so we can see the Highlands games and men in kilts doing barabric things! It should be fun. We're going to take a lot of silly pictures and try on princess hats! :-)
That's all. I can think off. Off to study more for my pop quiz.
