I have no christmas money, and that feels rather lame. I just told my girlfriend not to expect anything grand for x-mas (which she is more than ok with) :-\ which sucks, cause I'd love to give her something great. I know for a fact that she's practically showering me in gifts, which just makes me feel terrible about it on a whole other level.
My best friend though, has been hurting desperately for cash, and is too proud to go to anyone for dough. I know he's more than good for it, just in a rough spot, so I lent my "oh shit" money to him. which, in itself, feels great. I insured that he has a place to stay, and isn't completely stressed for the holidays. it just kinda sucks knowing that lending him that money puts us both in the same position: flat broke.
