so, It was my buddies 22nd birthday today, he called me just as I was getting off to join his family for dinner, at my work. so i turn around and sit at the table, chat up with his family, who are actually quite nice and I haven't seen in a long, long time., we go see a movie after with him and his mom, cause she wanted to come along. afterwards, she talks to him about his living situation, he is currently living with his aunt and uncle, cause his father died and his mother couldn't afford to live in the area, cause its california and friggin expensive. basically, his aunt wants him out of her place in the next 2-3 months. thats fine, except that he needs insurance, cause he gets epileptic seizures and needs meds and the occasional hospital visit. his job isn't fantastic, he works at a grocery store, he is gonna see if he can get health care through them, but it'll still be more expensive than what he pays.. anyway, what I'm getting at is he really wants to get a place with me, and I'm not thrilled on the idea. I already pay 300 a month for my living space at my Dads, which, well is tiny and shitty. I have to pay for my schooling and everything else though, and I Cannot work full time with my class load. point is, I might be able to scrounge up as much as 500-600 a month to go along with my other bills, but I'd be living rather poorly... but I'd be helping a good friend.. meh.. don't know what to do. i want my own place, and he would be a damn good roommate, I think he is reliable money wise, if a bit on the poor side, he has a steady job. its not the best for my schooling decisions though.. unless I wanna get student loans, which I'm not fond of the idea of. so yea, not sure what to do.
