The AAPG meeting went really well. I had two interviews with two smaller oil companies. I am not looking for a job right now, but I have never been to a professional interview so these were great experience. One of the companies asked me two completely illegal questions. I answered them unknowning that I didn't have to respond. They asked me my age and if I was married. Those are especially illegal questions to ask a woman. I was told this by my professors afterward and they were pretty mad about it. But any-whoo.... I know now that I don't have to answer.

You don't go to these professional meetings looking to hit on someone or find anyone "amusing"... but there was this hot hot guy there that I couldn't stop gawking at. For the sake of explination, my idea of hot is way different than most others. He looked just like Prof Lupin from the Harry Potter Prisoner of Azkaban movie. Very gaunt and nerdy looking. I am soo attracted to thin, geeky but tall men who can explain sciences to me. He looked to be about 35 years old and I didn't catch his name, but I know he is a member of the eastern section so I most likely will see him again. Not too often do I find a guy really really attractive so this weekend was amusing. Maybe by the next meeting in June I will grow a backbone and introduce myself to him. We made eye contact multiple times during the three full days of the meeting I was there, so hopefully he will remember me. We'll se...
