I just got back from my dentist appointment, and well, I need to went, because I'm not happy at all.
First, my last few haven't been good from the start--the first one, i got a new filling. Turns out, the asshole who did it drilled too fucking deep, so in another appointment (that was suppose to take out an old filling, and re-do it, because a previous dentist left a gap there to fill with nice bacteria) but instead, I got my teeth sanded down basically, so nothing ever touches the tooth that they drilled too deep on.
They had to do it a little more today, sicne it was still causing me trouble. I ended up getting the other refilling today.
First off, the tooth is near the front of my mouth, yet, the Dentist (I switched to another guy int he same building, since I didn't want the other asshat fucking up my other teeth, this guy is the owner, and oldest) But yeah, instead of shooting up my gumbs near the afflicted tooth, like any other filling I've had has been done, he decided to shoot the Novocaine right in between the hinge of the jaw--in that tiny place where it bends...twice. I never mind the mouth syringes, but I saw it, and that one fucking hurt.
Then, as the numbing kick in (which always feels weird, since only half of my tongue numbs when they do it like that.) I notice part of my throat is numb, and I'm having slight difficulty swallowing.
Also, I may add, that there were 2 more people int he room than fucking usual, staring into my mouth >_> which I didn't like.
When he goes to start fucking with my tooth, he puts this green piece of rubber over my entire mouth (cuts some away from my nose so I can breath) and then isolates the tooth. I've never had this done like this.
As he starts drilling, I notice that i can slightly feel it--only enough to flinch slightly though. Then, it fucking hurts a lot, and I realize that the numbing stuff didn't really numb the afflicted tooth >_> I had my eyes shut in pain almost the whole time, all the while, clenching my fingers around my one hand to a locking position...
I asked in an incoherent voice: "Is it suppose to hurt?" and his response was "well, it might be a little hot and cold sensitive"
then I said "because it hurts a lit when you drill" his response: "Well, we don't want you to be numb for 3 days"
WHAT THE FUCK?!?!
HE SHOULD HAVE FUCKING NUMBED THE RIGHT GOD DAMNED AREA
so yeah, I got to feel the entire process of him removing the decay and old silver filling...Then, when I went to rinse my mouth out, I noticed the water was discolored like there was blood in it, and I also saw blood on the fucking thing around my neck, just a drop mind you. However, when i was leaving, I touched my tooth, and it was still bleeding.
So my mouth is numb for no fucking reason for hours now, which freaks me the fuck out, and my teeth don't hurt, but regardless, I'm not fucking happy. I kinda just wanna cry...
