Well, I got a shock today when I awoke to get ready for work with a phone call from my fiance's mother. Apparently a fire broke out at the Courthouse in town. I was pretty shocked. It started around 4am, adn was pretty bad. As stated in my profile, I work at a land surveying office, so we kinda depend no those deeds at the courthouse.
I had my mom call the office so I could try & sleep a little more. They called us a little later from a cell phone, bc they were at the court house, and they were helping get the documents out of the place. SO at least we got most of the deeds, i think. We were told not to come ni, because there was nothign to do.
Around noon, mom & I went there to see what it looked like, and we took pictures. The clock tower was still attached, but they were waiting on a crain & an enginere to take it down.
One of my good friends was there at 5 am, and got video footage of the fire, and that footage is goign to be on chanel 25 news tonight at 5. Apparently, one of my bosses was on t.v. as well. Such an eventful day for such a little town here in West Virginia.
