Well, another week is almost over,,, they go by so fast.

Last night we picked up Wall-E on Blu-ray, which is seriously, one of the most adorable movies ever. You can't not smile while watching it.

We also put some money down on new glasses for me, finally. Mike asked Eric what I wanted for my birthday coming up--said he wanted to get me quantity over quality this year (problem is, he's the only one with the money to get the bigger things I always end up needing...or he just gets something bigger I win off of ebay.) And well, I got my eyes checked back in the summer, so I've been over due, especially since it's been 2-3 years since I got these glasses. The sales man was really nice too--very helpful. The pair I ended up picking out was more than all the other ones, but th was the only one that fit perfectly, unfortunately, they're those bendy ones, which made the price go up. They didn't have those frames in non-bendy without a gay color, and even then, the frames weren't exactly the same size. When the guy saw my prescription he went "Holy crap look at that sphere!" (my eyes are, quite literally, shaped like footballs) I also got transitions, since well, I'm tired of the sun always hurting my fucking eyes. The guy also saw that Eric was missing the nose pad from his glasses (he has for months now) And well, they're completely shot because the whole spring/metal part fell off. The guy took them back and found similar nose pad, and super glued it smile so far, it's held up nicely ^_^ didn't charge us a thing for it. So, I'll have some new glasses on or around my birthday. Hopefully before so I have them for the 21 ID picture.

Ha! 21 soon...it'll be a 10 year anniversary of drinking for me (not an alcohy, that's just when I started) So weird...last birthday to really look forward to...and I'll still get carded till I'm fucking 40, even for ciggs.

In other news, Last night we also picked up our 360 from Reynolds, who fixed it for us, whether it be temporary or not, still fixed smile

Also, finally found the one dress I used to own that I gave to peachy because it was too small for me. Ember's wearing it in one of her sets, and I asked her what size it was, because if it fit her boobs nice, it'll fit mine, because mine aren't much smaller (after all, I am a D cup) And we found a medium online, whih is awesome. Eric said if I didn't bid on it, he would. So I suppose it's a birthday present or something lol. speaking of which, I need to go pay for that...and also check if I won that Victoria's Secret bra for under $5....yeah...all mine are breaking or broke...I only had 3 VS ones, that I got as my 18th birthday presents, and the one, the under wire has popped out, the other one had netting in the back, an it's full of holes where I always grabbed, and well, it doesn't support anymore, and the 3rd one I gave to a friend, because it was a demi, so it fit liek a C and barely covered my nip, which is not acceptable for normal wear.

Almost won Metroid Huunters for the DS for $0.05 on ebay, free shipping lol, but I got outbid at $1.50.

Did you happen to be down in front for the midnight showing of Twilight at the Hagerstown mall cinema???

I wanted so much from that movie and also wanted so much for it to succeed and portray the book well. I had mixed feelings. I agree that some of it was just plain cheesy. How, with all the advances in cgi and such, could they not make some of it look more realistic. Something about the running scenes bothered me. Also I wasn't very impressed with how they made Edward's skin appear in sunlight. Honestly, they wouldn't be able to impress and appease everyone who read the book. I'm glad that your hubby enjoyed it as a stand-alone film, without bringing the preconceptions that we did to it. Hopefully that means plenty of people who haven't read the book will enjoy it...and watch it...and help it to be profitable and thus ensure that the other books get made into movies. wink lol My friend is a die hard Edward fan and has sworn that she won't go see the second one if it gets made into a movie. She's such a big liar! haha And no, actually I didn't yell at you. lol I was about 4/5 rows up and happened to see you and your hubby come in. Truthfully it was seeing him in the long, dark coat that made me recognize you. lol Sorry that you were feeling bad and I hope you're doing better now!

Btw, are you a Harry Potter fan?
