Today I got soundly punished for taking two days off work. For one thing the account that I handle managed to get completely jumbled around and screwed up...I expected coming in to a pile of paperwork but not to some bizarre labyrinth of fuckuppery that would make Sherlock Holmes scratch his head. And what was really great was that our crappy computer system was totally down for the first three hours I was at work. That's right, 3, count 'em, 3 HOURS. Which means I was either staring at the wall, eating, staring out the window, or flipping through this huge catalog that was my only source of amusement. There was something really funny in there though:

Some dude came in to fix our system at about 6:30 pm finally, and I guess it all works now, but that means I'll probably have a long day tomorrow playing catch-up.
