I'm back home. Over 4,500 (mapquest says it was 4,000) miles in eight days.
Picked up Monroe in Oklahoma City.
Drove to Santa Fe and stayed with a old friend. He and his partner have two great danes, one is a puppy and one is four years old. They loved Monroe (everyone loves Monroe). I'm pretty sure that Edith and Monroe had the hots for each other which is funny because Monroe only comes up to her ankles.
After Santa Fe I made a mad dash through the SW on parts of old Route 66. Stopped a lot to take pictures. Lots of cool rotten stuff on the road side. I'll post more over the next week. Here's a few.

It will be interesting to see what changes will be in store for the UFC come the next few months. Between the Ultimate Fighter with Kimbo to some much needed challenges for the current champs.
